Year book Page Reflection

1. What do you like most about your designs?

I like how they are all futuristic and bright. I like how they make your eyes move around the page. One of my favorite features is thhe dark background with colour on top. Ialso like how it is ballanced, like there is the right amount of colour and the right amount of black.


2. What do you think could be improved about your designs?

I think i could have added more pictures to them. They just were not creative enough but i think they still turned out good. I also dont like how it is mostly dark. I would have liked to have some lighter backgrounds but i have to stay with my theme.


3. What do you think makes your designs unique and competitive to be selected for the real yearbook design?

I think what makes my pages unique is that they are clean. The edges and lines are clean there are no slpatters or rough edges. Also it is very simple but bold at the same time. It catches your eye and makes you want to see the others.

The theme I would like to use for this assignment is futuristic. I am choosing futuristic because it is good looking and fun. I also like the futuristic theme cause it has a lot of clean edges and does not look messy. A futuristic theme would fit our school because we can only go forward.

Reflection

 What do you see in this piece of art (describe it)?

I see a car driving through a country side. The car is spuing out polution into the air. On the left side are the words pierce the sky with poison.



  What kind of message did you try to give in this piece of art?

I am trying to send the message that we are poluting the air way to much. If we keep poluting the way we are there could be some very serius side affects. I am just trying to portray people that we are in trouble with polution.




  Do you like or dislike this piece of art?  Why?

I like my work because i think it touches on a very real and present problem. Polution does not sleep and does not wait for anyone or anything. Polution needs to be brought to attention in every way we can, including art.

1. What do you see in this peice of art?

In this peice of art I see a black and white picture of two faces with a rip between them. In the rip the words you destroy what you think is difference.

2.  What kind of message is the artist giving in this piece of art?

I think the message is that we bully or destroy things that are different then you. this really relates to sociaty because that is what people do the bully people who are different.

3.Do you like or dislike Kruger’s work? Why?

Personaly i really like Barbara Kruger's work because i believe sociaty needs to be made fun of or critiqued from time to time so people know whats wrong with the world.

What I like most about my project?

The thing I like most about my game is my theme. The reason i like my theme is because it is based off of my favorite PS3 game, Skyrim Elder scrolls 5. I really like the humans vs dragons adventure idea.

What I could improve in my game?

The thing that I ould improve in my game is the art. Some of my drawing is a little sloppy and un even. Some examples arethe backgrounds do not have alot of detail.

How is my game an improvment on the original?

My game is better then the original because there is more creativity. By that i mean the theme is better and i have to be honoust my explosion is pretty awsome. The original ame is great but it needed some improvments like scenery and charachters.
